Springfield, MO – July 15, 2022 – Abacus CPAs, LLC is pleased to name Ashleigh Schroeder as the recipient of the 2022 Abacus Values Award of Ownership. Schroeder joined the firm in August 2021 as an Analyst in the Traditional Tax, Audit & Accounting Department.
Schroeder graduated with her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Missouri State University in May 2020 and has experience as a senior teller at a bank and as a staff accountant at another firm. Schroeder is praised for her dedication and perseverance through tough assignments with a desire to succeed and best serve clients.
“I think a big part of ownership is just taking on those responsibilities and doing the best you can with it,” Schroeder said. “If you don’t know something, you figure it out, whether it’s asking someone or looking it up. You just try your best, and you don’t put your work on other people.”
The Abacus Value Award for Ownership recognizes an employee who has exemplary pride in their work, a desire to succeed and loyalty.
“I was surprised when I received the award, but I am very grateful because I am getting recognized for some projects that I have worked really hard on,” she said.
The Abacus Values Awards were created in 2020 to recognize individuals who fully exemplify Abacus Values in how they live, work and build relationships with clients and coworkers. Each recipient demonstrated exceptional understanding and achievement in client support and professional relationships.
