[Springfield, MO – December 3, 2021] – Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that John Taylor has been promoted to Senior Consultant. John, who joined the firm in December 2015 as the Intern, transitioned into full time in 2017 as staff member in the Traditional Department, has been a valuable resource in technical preparation of business and individual tax returns, tax and business consulting, and tax problem resolution services.
John Taylor, who previously worked as a teller at a local bank, has a good foundation of professional experience and is proud to work in a teamwork-based environment. As an intern, he prepared tax returns, completed data entry, supported accounting services projects and worked to learn the general operations of the firm.
His responsibilities have grown over the years to include more advanced work requiring a higher level of technical skill, increased involvement in client communication and projects, and to include supervising other team members, handling larger and more complex client situations and providing direction and support to newer team members. John also serves as a member of the Abacus Experience Committee, working closely with firm leaders to empower employees to provide distinctive service, a point of pride for the firm.
