[Springfield, MO – May 5, 2021] – Abacus CPAs, LLC is proud to announce that Amanda Statesel has been promoted to Senior Analyst. Amanda, who joined the firm in June 2018, serves as a member of the Accounting Services Department and has been a valuable resource in supporting clients’ payroll needs, assisting problem resolution, and providing accounting services and controllership work.
Amanda Statesel, who earned her Bachelors of Accounting in 2018, began her Abacus journey as an intern and later became a full-time employee. She has worked in both the Transportation Department and in the Traditional Accounting & Payroll Services Department. Amanda appreciates the growth and leadership opportunities at Abacus, and fully participates in the Mentor program and Leadership the Abacus Way leadership classes.
Amanda’s responsibilities have grown since she started at Abacus. She now processes payroll for many clients, prepares payroll and sales tax returns, helps problem resolution clients with delicate or complex needs. She specializes in bookkeeping, managing QuickBooks, processing W2s and 1099s.

I’m looking forward to continuing my Abacus journey by taking on larger and more complex client projects, including financial analysis and consulting.
